Quincy Recycle Inc. (Quincy) is proud to announce the purchase of On-Site Information Destruction, Inc. (On-Site).
Quincy Recycle Inc. was founded in 1974. Through providing business to business recycling services, Quincy has become one of the fastest growing recyclers in the Midwest. Quincy operates three recycling plants: Quincy, Illinois, Alsip, Illinois and New Haven, Indiana. The recycling plants of Quincy total over 340,000 square feet. Quincy Recycle’s brokerage division was created in 1978 and has established outlets for recycled paper, plastic and metals throughout the United States, China and India. This allows Quincy to provide competitive pricing based on global demand.
Pursant, LLC (Pursant) acted as the sole Merger & Acquisition Advisor to Quincy for the transaction. Schmiedeskamp, Robertson, Neu & Mitchell LLP acted as legal counsel to Quincy. Quincy completed the acquisition as part of an ongoing expansion plan that will expand their capabilities and service offerings beyond recycling, into the document destruction space.
Bryan Stokes, President of Quincy Recycle Inc., expressed his enthusiasm saying, “We are very excited about our expansion into the document destruction business. We are looking forward to continuing the decade long tradition of On-Site supplying superior service at fair prices.”
The President of Pursant, Mark Herbick, noted, “On-Site Information Destruction, Inc. is truly a wonderful synergy to Quincy and both parties are very pleased with this transaction.”
