Debra Fine

Managing Director

Debra Fine is a Managing Director with the firm, helping to lead Pursant's Mergers and Acquisitions practice. She also specializes in raising capital, brand equity evaluation, and periodically serves as a fractional/interim CEO. Debra began her career in marketing for Marketing Corporation of America where she advised Fortune 500 clients such as Kraft, Quaker, American Express, and Pepsi on growing market share and brand equity and then became head of marketing and licensing for Disney Online. She is a three-time CEO, with the most recent being the Chief Executive Officer for Small World Kids where she took the company public and acquired several electronic learning companies and additional Infant, Toddler and Pre-School companies. She grew global distribution and worked with over 100 factories to create and manufacture the company's 3,000 SKUs of premium children's products.

Fine has strategic transaction expertise in several consumer products sectors including Skin, Haircare, Beauty, Retail, Edtech, and Children's/Mom's products and services.

Fine has served in numerous leadership roles for YPO (Young President's Organization) as it's Chairperson for her Pacific Chapter and as Chairperson for the Deal Network, a global dealmaking network with over 12,000 members. The network focuses on transactions such as Acquisitions, Mergers, Exits, Liquidity Events and Raising Capital

In 2013, Fine established The Fine Line Foundation to help victims of violent crimes, after she was shot protecting two women in June 2013 during the mass shooting in Santa Monica and Santa Monica College. She has been nominated for the Carnegie Medal of Honor for saving lives.

Fine received her BA in Business and Advertising at The University of Southern California.
